We provide a comfortable home, free of charge, for children with cancer and their family while availing medical care in Cebu.  Cebu City is the major hub in the Visayan region for families to avail proper treatment of cancer.  In fact, there are no treatment options for these children coming from nearby islands.  Because of this, many families are forced to quit their job, leave their other children, and travel hours by boat to provide proper treatment for their child.

These families often feel overwhelmed and anxious upon arriving to Cebu.  Not only have they found out their child has a life threatening illness, they are now faced with medical expenses beyond their imagination.  Many arrive to Cebu without a place to stay and have never been to a major city.  They will have to spend at least $15-25 a day (more than three times the salary for most) in a pension house which could be used toward nutrition and medical treatments.

The Everlasting HOPE Center provides weekly activities for those children and families living within the Center in addition to those within the community enrolled within the Everlasting HOPE program.  We are thrilled to see transformation in both the child and their family emotionally and spiritually as we begin working with them!  Our hope is to see every child healed and living long, happy lives!
