Job needed a miracle. He was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), an aggressive form of cancer. The bone marrow transplant he needed remains nearly impossible for any Filipino to afford.

He began chemotherapy and came to live at Everlasting HOPE Cebu, his home away from home, in May 2018. As a team, we hoped that God would do a miracle for Job. At the same time, we didn’t want to get our hopes too high, considering that every other child with AML with whom we worked had passed away.

Even when others encouraged him to look elsewhere for answers, Job continued to trust Jesus alone.

We are thrilled that the Lord answered, doing the miraculous for Job. Today we give a praise offering of thanksgiving. We praise God that Job joins the more than 35 children of Everlasting HOPE Cebu who have finished their treatment for cancer.

Although we will miss having Job stay with us full-time, we are excited that he will be heading home. His second home at Everlasting HOPE Cebu will be waiting when he is back to Cebu for his follow-up appointments.

We welcome your prayers for all of our children. Pray for those who are still in active treatment for complete healing and for those who have finished their treatment that they would remain cancer-free!
