Marius Niklaus' Wish Came True
Marius Niklaus always had a deep admiration for the Philippine Military. So, it’s no wonder he has been passionate about armored cars, trucks, planes, real-life soldiers, or anything and everything related to the military.

“He’s been obsessed with anything military since he was like three or four years old,” said his soft-spoken mother, Mia. But in the midst of his deep-seated admiration for the armed forces, there lies a silent truth: Niklaus’ time with us is fleeting. So, on February 28, 2024, Everlasting Hope, Sgt Mylene Balmores, the Philippine Air Force in Mactan, and the Philippine Army in Camp Lapu-Lapu acted as soldiers of God to grant Niklaus’ wish of a military adventure.

“This has been a dream come true. I cannot explain. I am beyond words to explain how I feel seeing him very happy. Thank you so much to the sponsors and the staff for going all out to make it happen. I would also like to thank the soldiers who went out of their way to give Klaus a special experience,” Mia said.

When asked to describe his experience at the military airbase, Niklaus said something you’d never guess any young kid would say. “It was extreme. I saw armored cars, trucks, helicopters, and planes. Thank you, everyone, and thank you, sponsors. I love you,” Marius Niklaus said.
